Speedy deletion nomination of Rohtak Radio Station[edit]

Hello Rajsector3,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Rohtak Radio Station for deletion, because it's too short to identify the subject of the article.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Knyzna1 (talk) 17:30, 8 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Deletion of Rohtak Radio Station[edit]

Hi Rajsector 3

By the time of creation, all Wikipedia articles need to clearly establish why they are significant and deserve to be included in the encyclopedia. Your article, Rohtak Radio Station, was deleted as per WP:A7 and WP:A1, as there was not enough context to establish the subject of the article and why it is notable. A Wikipedia article's main purpose is to inform the reader on the article's subject, and your article failed to do so, and thus was deleted.

I trust you will take the aforementioned factors into consideration when creating further articles. Kind regards. Knyzna1 (talk) 19:10, 13 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The article Crusher in Haryana has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

This is a political soapbox, not a neutral article. It must be rewritten in neutral terms and fully referenced or it must go. Wikipedia articles may not do more than report what is documented in reliable sources, and the material must also be notable.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Fiddle Faddle 13:40, 14 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I do not know how you are associating crusher with politics as crushers are in few part of the state and they are using their crushers only for their financial gains and polluting the environment and this is not affected/ associated from any political party.Rajsector3 (talk) 06:43, 16 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

This article is only giving the names of the persons associated with the congress party on one page and only names of the persons already floating on wikipedia...ok so please do not delete and it is not biased in any manner.Rajsector3 (talk) 06:40, 16 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. It seems to me that an article you worked on, Deer Park, Hisar, may be copied from http://hisar.biz/deer-park-hisar/. It's entirely possible that I made a mistake, but I wanted to let you know because Wikipedia is strict about copying from other sites.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Deer Park, Hisar requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://hisar.biz/deer-park-hisar/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. The article Reasons of increase in divorces in India has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No evidence this topic is encyclopedic. Likely original research and/or synthesis.

I have checked both the articles, and I think both of them might need proper references (read journal or articles from leading periodicals). As of now, both the articles look to be biased and not written from a neutral point of view. If you take my opinion, I would request you to create a new article called, Divorce in India and move the existing content of Reasons of increase in divorces in India there (and obviously write it from a NPOV). May 2014[edit]

Warning icon Hello Rajsector3, and welcome to Wikipedia. Your addition to Khushpura has had to be removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material without permission from the copyright holder. While we appreciate your contributing to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from your sources to avoid copyright or plagiarism issues here.

  • You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and a cited source. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
  • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. (There is a college-level introduction to paraphrase, with examples, hosted by the Online Writing Lab of Purdue.) Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
  • Our primary policy on using copyrighted content is Wikipedia:Copyrights. You may also want to review Wikipedia:Copy-paste.
  • If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. However, there are steps that must be taken to verify that license before you do. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
  • In very rare cases (that is, for sources that are public domain or compatibly licensed), it may be possible to include greater portions of a source text. However, please seek help at the help desk before adding such content to the article. 99.9% of sources may not be added in this way, so it is necessary to seek confirmation first. If you do confirm that a source is public domain or compatibly licensed, you will still need to provide full attribution; see Wikipedia:Plagiarism for the steps you need to follow.
  • Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied without attribution. If you want to copy from another Wikipedia project or article, you can, but please follow the steps in Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 13:52, 29 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Thanks (Regarding Chillar)[edit]

Hi,
Regarding the article you created about Chillar, I did see that you put links in to give credit to your sources. But that is not the only thing you must do. You have a few options:

  • Put the quotes in directly, with quotation marks. Example-
    • According to onefivenine.com , "Chillar is a Village in Rewari Tehsil in Rewari District of Haryana State, India. It belongs to Gurgaon Division."[1]
  • You can put the ideas into your own words, without relying on the original structure. Then put the reference in at the end.
    • Owned by the Gurgaon Division, Chillar is an Indian village inside of Haryana State...(fill in more)[1]

You cannot closely paraphrase or copy-paste, and then put the reference. It's either a direct quote, or your own words completely.

Thank you for creating the pages- be sure to read WP: CS , and never copy paste unless it is attributed correctly.Keep editing, don't be discouraged.JacobiJonesJr (talk) 04:47, 2 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Waiving of fundamental right requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about something invented/coined/discovered by the article's creator or someone they know personally, and it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time.

Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons policy[edit]

Please note that the Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons policy applies everywhere on Wikipedia - not just in articles. And please also note that article talk pages are solely intended for discussions of direct relevance to article content - they are not a forum for general discussion of the article subject. Your recent posts at Talk:Bhupinder Singh Hooda are neither in compliance with BLP policy (you were reporting allegations as fact) nor apparently intended to suggest changes to the article - and note that any proposed changes will of course also have to comply with BLP policy. AndyTheGrump (talk) 01:55, 18 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Since this article appears to me to violate several Wikipedia policies, I have started a thread on it atWikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents. You may wish to respond there - but before you do, I suggest you familiarise yourself with WP:BLP policy, for a start. AndyTheGrump (talk) 02:16, 18 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The article Corruption in Haryana has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Violates WP:NOTSOAPBOX. Being questioned at AN/I

Hello, Rajsector3. This message is being sent to inform you that a request for a contributor copyright investigation has been filed at Contributor copyright investigations concerning your contributions to Wikipedia in relation to Wikipedia's copyrights policy. The listing can be found here. For some suggestions on responding, please see Responding to a CCI case. Thank you. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 14:13, 19 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry to add to your difficulties at this moment, but I'm afraid I have found a good deal of evidence that you make a habit of copy-pasting from other sources. I hope, of course, to find that I am wrong about that. Regards, Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 14:16, 19 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Why no post on ANI?[edit]

I'm wondering why you haven't posted on ANI as you were asked to. I unblocked you just half an hour after your last unblock request, for the purpose of doing that, but you haven't taken advantage of it to edit. Is this real life intervening (of course I wouldn't complain about anything like that), or have you decided against explaining yourself on ANI? I hope you'll post there, or here, within the next 24 hours, or I'm afraid it will seem reasonable to reblock you. Bishonen | talk 22:03, 19 June 2014 (UTC).[reply]

Fair Conclusion[edit]

Hi. I just wanted to give you a bit of encouragement to keep editing Wikipedia, following the discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators'_noticeboard/Incidents#Corruption_in_Haryana_article. I think you've done the right thing by agreeing not to create new articles except through the Articles for Creation process for the next year: it will help you to understand what is expected of a Wikipedia article, and I think you'll learn a lot. I feel that the discussion reached a fair conclusion, and hope you do too. In the meantime, you can still edit existing articles, and (as you probably know) there is a lot of work to be done, particularly in articles about India. If there is anything I can do to help you, please let me know. RomanSpa (talk) 08:05, 20 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Reminder of editing restrictions[edit]

Hi, Rajsector. This is just a reminder on your page of the editing restrictions you've agreed to here. You're going to create articles only through Articles for creation, and not create any other types of pages at all (such as for example templates) for the space of one year from now.

You don't have to keep this note visible on your page if you'd rather not; it's for your eyes, not for other people. Again, happy editing! Bishonen | talk 10:33, 20 June 2014 (UTC).[reply]

Only for the reason that you found one or two articles of disruptive writings and I have created about 95 pages for the world and society, allow me for further editing and you may set a expiry time for 4-6 months. I will abstain from the same and keep Fasting and with the same never crack your rules and guidlines Anupmehra wikipedian suggested me to create directly and there was two different ways to create through AFC.

  • 1. through draft
  • 2. through un reviewd

as mentioned thereon Wikipedia:Article wizard/Ready for submission Ravinder Saini is a notable topic because a journalist is the person who works not for himself he provides truth, news and happenings to the society and if Journalists are not notable then what is the need to be a wikipedian, wikipedian also provides info about the topics necessary for years even when the creators dies, I have not advertised my self, The tribune, where Ravinder saini works is the reputed newspaper of India and tribune is the news paper having editions even outside of India. Pages can be improved and deletion is not the only solution. He is working as a journalist should work i.e. fairly. If you unblock I will create it through draft mode. A few Journalists from Haryana are mentioned below and have pages on Wikipedia:-

Anupmehra wikipedian suggested me to create directly... I see no evidence that the editor you mentioned (or any other editor, for that matter) suggested that you use Wikipedia:Article wizard to create an article. Furthermore, you agreed to create articles using the WP:AFC process, given the issues mentioned at ANI about your previous creations. Why would you then use the article wizard, not use the {{AFC submission}} template, not title it as a Draft, etc.? --Kinu t/c 03:27, 27 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Rajsector3 (talk) 03:34, 27 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, the template says you can create articles yourself; because you are a registered user, you technically can. However, you as an editor were told not to do so, because of your editing history, and you agreed to this. Without any legitimate discussion, a template message does not nullify or supersede your editing restrictions. --Kinu t/c 03:37, 27 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Furthermore, given that you broke the agreed-upon editing restriction prior to receiving this message on July 23 (see your creation of Jaspinder Cheema on June 30 and Amita Pathak on July 12, both in Article namespace and not using the AfC process), claiming that this message is the reason you did so is disingenuous. --Kinu t/c 07:56, 27 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • You say you "will abstain from the same" again? You already promised to abstain from direct article creation for a full year! After you had been indefinitely blocked for disruptive editing, I pleaded for a second chance for you on condition you promised to create articles only through Articles for creation. Compare the original ANI thread and my reminder above on this page. You promised to abide by the restrictions but after a mere ten days you started to create new articles directly in mainspace again (Jaspinder Cheema on 20 30 June and other non-viable articles as well as copyright violations). And now you say that was because you misunderstood a template you received on 23 July? As far as I'm concerned, you've already wasted too much community time. Sorry. Bishonen | talk 10:29, 27 July 2014 (UTC).[reply]
  • @Kinu:, @Bishonen:, @Rajsector3: - Hi all, Perhaps I'm late to be here. I received an email from the blocked user who has been in my contact since his early days of Wikipedia editing. I also reviewed his last afc draft, He said in the email, "[..]You suggested me create the articles directly and I was confused whether to create through draft or through unreviewed channels, help me to unblock myself[..]". I can now figure out, he made an attempt to lie to me. He has been evading sanctions much earlier prior to the afc template posted on his talk page by me.
The blocked person has given community an impression of being an untrusted editor who does not follow Wikipedia policy and guidelines and even established consensus and sanctions. He has even lost the last chance granted to him.
At best, being blocked, the editor is unable to create community any extra unnecessary work. I'm unsure, but I will not mind giving it a try as if I promise the Wikipedia community, if block removed on the editor, he'll not be wasting community time either and will work hard towards being a productive editor. If unblocked, I'll assume responsibility to mentor him and to make sure he follows the sanctions imposed at Administrator's noticeboard. Is there any little ray of hope for this editor to get his block lifted or block period reduced from indefinite to one or two week or a month or few months? I'll however request for the reduced block period, so that, in the meanwhile he could learn basics of Wikipedia policy and guidelines. May we afford to assume good faith one more time? It might be possible that he followed WP:Article Wizard and after following five steps, he got stuck at WP:Article_wizard/Ready for submission. Regards, Anupmehra -Let's talk! 02:11, 28 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • To wit, "fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me." This editor agreed to create articles only via the AfC process. By circumventing this editing restriction and then not being forthright about his reason for doing so, I see no reason to assume good faith anymore. Assuming good faith is not a suicide pact, and to allow this editor to continue to create articles that are, quite frankly, terrible, both in terms of language (this editor's command of English is not good, based solely on the comments made on this page) and actual content (the articles are usually biased and terribly sourced) is not beneficial to the encyclopedia. Your willingness to mentor this user is admirable; however, I do not see any benefit in allowing this editor to continue to edit here, and I stand by this indefinite block. --Kinu t/c 02:56, 28 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Hi, Anupmehra. I'm changing the section header, which just gets more and more unsuitable. It's pretty heroic of you to offer to mentor the user after he pretty much tried to blame you for his latest block; I'm impressed. But you see how both the declining admins, Wizardman and MER-C, focus on Rajsector's violations of our copyright policies. If you were his mentor, you'd have to take responsibility for teaching him how to apply those policies as well, and for making sure he doesn't try to skirt or evade them. (I'm sorry to have to make the last point, but there it is, compare what Kinu says about AGF.) Copyright issues are taken very seriously as I'm sure you know. It looks to me like you'd be taking on a lot of work for uncertain gain.
Your suggestion that he could perhaps be unblocked in a few months has merit, but I don't think it's likely to happen in the form of a reduced block period at this time. Instead, I suggest that he shouldn't currently post any more unblock requests, but instead, if he wants to, work with your help towards learning as you say the "basics of Wikipedia policy and guidelines". Not really sure how he can do much of that while blocked, but I suppose conversation with you through e-mail and/or on this page might achieve something. Then, if you say he's ready for it, he could post another unblock request in three months and perhaps have it viewed favorably by an uninvolved admin. If he worked at other Wikipedias (Wikiquote? Hindi Wikipedia? He doesn't have any babelboxes, so I'm guessing) in the meantime and did well there, it would certainly count in his favour.
I'm dubious, though. It's up to you, and your heroism is appreciated, but please think again whether you're up for what I have described. And think about it you, too, Rajsector3. For you too it would be a lot of work for uncertain gain, as you may still not be unblocked in the end. There are many websites and message boards out there that you can use without all this palaver. Bishonen | talk 09:24, 28 July 2014 (UTC).[reply]
  • @Kinu:, @Bishonen: I again apologies for my inadvertent mistakes, properly explained by Anumehra above that through Afc I misunderstood that what is the best way to create through draft or through unreviewed channels, you can see example of my honesty that my talk page may be cleaned by me previously and kept all the previous messages near 60 open for all to know my willingness to create pages for all, I thank Anupmehra and request you to unblock me and see the changes, unreliable references may be denied on talk page for future care and caution, Happy Eid and Teej from India to you and all.Rajsector3 (talk) 16:05, 28 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • I've sent an email to the user in reply to his email yesterday, and I'm still waiting for his reply. Please consider that, he is a good faith editor. There are some problems however, and is what his editing privilege revoked for, unfortunately indefinitely.
I'm here to say that, those problems with editing are most common within a majority of new Wikipedia editors. It is not that, he made all mistakes knowingly. He is just not aware of tons of our Wikipedia policy and guidelines and essays, or better say even basics of them. Despite that, he tries to contribute and make together with us, an encyclopedia. It could be evidenced with the multiple valid articles created by him[2]. He has made a few less than a thousand edits.
These problems are not really totally unmanageable. I may help him to understand, What Wikipedia articles should be written about, How Wikipedia articles should be written about, What Wikipedia is not and most importantly, Why we can not simply copy-paste texts/media files available else where over the internet or offline, most of the times. If he stops copy-pasting and agrees to use only wp:drafts to create new articles, I guess, problem no longer exists thereafter.
I'm afraid, we are about to lose an active good faith Wikipedia editor. He may be frustrated and depressed with all these happenings. I acknowledge that, he was warned and apparently made properly understand what he should to do, and what he should not.
And, I've just received his e-mail, and I'd share that here,(it complies with my E-mail notice)
I am thankful to you for conceiving my mistaken thought properly that I was stuck in process of AFC that through draft or through unreviewed channel is best, I also thank for accepting my submission, I am not biased and promoting anyone, English is second language for me but I am educated person, if any mistake is committed inadvertently may be corrected by any person in the world, I again through request the persons raising objections that I will abstain even from editing if there is advertent mistake occurs, I am not earning any penny through creating pages or editing, sole purpose is to provide information to the world and it's Wikipedia's aim.
If possible, grant him one more chance to be a part of the Wikipedia community. I believe, if granted, and he ever draws the community attention that'd be only for his constructive efforts and hard work to make and improve Wikipedia. We are here to build encyclopedia, one more hand would not be less. I'm not saying just unblock him now. I'm saying he is worth to be granted a second chance. It could be done by multiple ways, as one suggested above by Bishonen. Perhaps, Rajsector3 would like to add a little more and explain his further willingness to contribute to the project.
Sorry people for the trouble reading the lengthy message. Regards, Anupmehra -Let's talk! 17:43, 28 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
