Copyright Warning[edit]

Please do not add copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder, as you did to Georgios Vafopoulos. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. Blocked[edit]

I have reviewed some more of your contributions. You were apparently heavily involved, back in 2006, in the vandalism on the impersonation account User:Risto Stefov. I have no idea why you weren't indef-banned right then and there. You obviously should have been. Since then, you have persistently abused Wikipedia by using that dead account's talk page as a dumping ground for your nationalist rants, most recently just today with your IP [1].

As far as your other contributions are concerned, I can see nothing but: misusing various talkpages as a forum for your opinion rants; posting irrelevant and tendentious external links to various articles; and posting copyright violations both in text and image.

I see no useful contributions whatsoever.

You are therefore now blocked indefinitely. Fut.Perf. 13:34, 19 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

your reason here

Decline reason:

FPaS' observation that you have a nationalist battle stance here certainly seems accurate to me. We really don't need any more of that, and if it had been brought to your attention in the past, it hasn't sunk in because you are still making such comments; the edit Future Perfect points out is one example; your recent comments at Talk:Macedonia naming dispute are others. If you want to be unblocked you are going to have actually address this issue: it is a problem, it is a current problem, and at the very least, any unblock request needs to address the substance of these issues. Mangojuicetalk 15:48, 20 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:

I recently had my account suspended by Future Perfect at Sunrise.

I would like someone to review this, and hopefully unblock the account. Many of the actions Future Perfect at Sunrise makes reference to happened 3 years ago, and any more recent events have been brought to my attention, at which point I addressed them, through compliance or dialogue with the user who brought the matter to my attention.

In my opinion, for this to happen after three years is a bit much, especially that one of a handful of users that I have liaised with over the years has been Future Perfect at Sunrise, but when he was known as Future Perfect.

UNBLOCK REQUEST[edit]

Haven't I used the templete correctly?

Φilhellenism 09:00, 4 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You did, and you got a response to it, above. You can of course post a new request, if you have something to say that addresses the issues pointed out to you last time. Fut.Perf. 10:50, 4 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Philhellenism! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. Here is the article:

File permission problem with File:Theodoros Kolokotronis.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Theodoros Kolokotronis.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Kelly hi! 22:18, 27 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
