Deletion Discussion[edit]

The article could be proposed for deletion. The threshold for inclusion in Wikipedia is verifiability; it is not enough to simply assert that a topic is notable without substantiating that claim. Articles should verify that they are notable, or "worthy of notice", this article has not received any coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject. u mean speedy deletion. That's right, it rendered just 2500 hits in Google search, that's not enough for notability. To me, it looks like (self) advertising. What do others think? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 219.101.197.198 (talk) 14:30, 31 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
However, switching to her name in Japanese generates 36000: mostly third-party; and both numbers are more than some other pages on wikipedia generate. Not to mention an IMDB-Pro page and a listing on AsianDB. I'll continue to refrain from adding to the article though for as I said in the past I'm to close to the subject (personal acquaintance) to render my thoughts with impartiality. That said, I would figure there are far more pressing articles for deletion than this rising film star. Do all the Dragon Ball characters need their own page? Really? • The assertion that she can be properly sourced through translation makes me believe that this should likely be kept. This should be resolved at AFD if it is going to be deleted. I am dePRODding this.--TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 14:23, 8 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
