Yasmin Zaher

Yasmin Zaher (born 1991) is a Palestinian journalist and writer. Her journalism has appeared in Al-Monitor,[1] Haaretz,[2] and Times of Israel. Her debut novel, The Coin, was selected among "most anticipated" books for 2024 on Marie Claire,[3] Ms.,[4] Lithub,[5] Vulture,[6] and The Seattle Times.[7] It received reviews from Kirkus Reviews,[8] and Publishers Weekly.[9]

Zaher is from Jerusalem. She has a Bachelor of Science in biomedical engineering from Yale University and a Master of Fine Arts in creative writing from The New School, where she was advised by Katie Kitamura.[10]
