How To Get Help (written by PorkchopGMX)[edit]

At one point or another, we’ve always needed help. Maybe you’re a newbie who needs help on their journey to become a great Wikipedia admin, but they don’t know how to cite sources or navigate a portal or something else. Maybe you’re an experienced user who forgot how to use the {{Humor}} or {{Tweet}} templates. Maybe you are bored and you just randomly stumbled upon this page and it made you happy (if it did, cool). Anyways, here are some ways to get help.

Method 1: Use the {{Help me}} Template[edit]

Ya need help real quick? Well you can place something similar to the following text on your talk page and somebody will respond soon (maybe not).

==How does X work?==
{{Help me}}
Your question.
~~~~
“Your question” is the question you would like to ask, while the four tildes automatically inserts your signature. Somebody that would like to help you will respond, and the help me template will change to {{Help me-helped}} when the question has been reaolved. (If you speciffically need help from an administrator, use {{Admin help}} instead.)
