Introduction[edit]

In celebration of Mountaineer Week, hosted annually by West Virginia University, we at West Virginia University Libraries will be hosting two edit-a-thons about female artists from Appalachia. Help us add this content about women from Appalachia and contribute to our efforts to work towards closing the gender gap on Wikipedia.

This event is hosted by Kelly Doyle, WVU Libraries Wikipedian in Residence for Gender Equity, the Art in the Libraries Committee at West Virginia University Libraries, and the Eberly Writing Studio part of the ECAS Speak Write Initiative.
