I am nominating this for featured list because it previously went through a failed FLC but met with positive feedback. The main reason for failure was that the nomination was still there after one month with not enough comments. 03md 10:11, 17 March 2010 (UTC)

• The section Pop Idol albums is completely unreferenced.

• Added a couple of refs.

• "series of top five hits" should probably be top-five.

• there is inconsistent use of "number one" and "number-one" – I have no real preference of one over the other, but be consistent throughout.

• Changed all instances to "number-one".

• Similarly with "top-10", "top 20", "number three" etc.

• "charted at number one in January 2003,[5]." Reference after the full-stop, and no comma.

• Done.

• "Jessica Garlick, the latter being selected as the United Kingdom's entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2002 and finishing third in the competition." Could you provide a reference for the Song Contest position.

• per WP:MOSNUM, numbers at the start of a sentence should be spelled out.

After several years away from the music industry, Gates briefly returned with a new album and singles in 2007.[8]" several repeated too many times. And how did his album/singles get on? Done. You suddenly talk about Darius but don't explain why. Which series? Where did he finish? Done "who did not even make the" remove "even" as you're putting undue POV on the statement. Reworded the phrase. "Other contestants from the first series to have chart success were Sarah Whatmore (who did not even make the selection for the live shows), Rosie Ribbons, Rik Waller, Zoe Birkett and Jessica Garlick, the latter being selected as the United Kingdom's entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2002 and finishing third in the competition." split the sentence after Garlick. Done. "As of November 2009..." now it's March/April 2010... Done. "Will Young has had 14 singles peak within the top-100, followed by Will Young with nine entries." read that again. Oops - corrected the typo. No need to continually repeat first names. Done, I think. McManus' caption doesn't have Pop Idol in italics. Done. Spaced or unspaced slash. Lead has a spaced slash, table has a mixture... Done. Song title heading should be Song title(s) for the double A-sides. Done. Hyphens to represent uncharting albums - I would prefer en- or em-dashes. Done. "promotional version. [66]" remove that space between ref and punctuation. Done. The By artist table sorts badly, the en-dashes blow it out (in Safari). Done. 4 [E] - remove the space. Done. "1.2million sales" space between 2 and million. Done. As per User:Goodraise many times, Chartstats may be debated as being a reliable source. Is it really published by the Official Charts Company? I have addressed all but the sourcing issue. 03md 23:34, 13 April 2010 (UTC) I noticed that The Official Charts Company have now added a singles and albums archive to their website, therefore I have removed the Chart Stats refs and am now citing this site. However, I am not sure how to fix a problem with the formatting of the references - as the urls have a gap between the first and surname of artists, the second word appears as part of the title. 03md 23:34, 13 April 2010 (UTC) Can you give me a specific example? The artist names are capitalised on the website so that is how I have done them here, but this can be changed. I have also had to keep the Chart Stats ref for Sam & Mark as I couldn't find a page for them on the Official Charts Company website. 03md 09:16, 14 April 2010 (UTC) Yes, please change them. • Comment -- the only issue I see now (aside from the resolved comments from my last review) is that the term "number-one" is used interchangibly but incorrectly. "number-one" should be used as an adjective to describe the single/album, it should not be used in the sense of describing where it ranked on the charts. For example, some sentences are in similar fashion to "it ranked number-one in the UK" (sentences like this should not have a dash). Sentences like "his hit was a number-one."
