The name Banu Zaydan is the original name of the dynasty. This is easy to verify for anyone who does a quick research. The term Saadi was used later after the fall of the dynasty

August 2022[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Saadi Sultanate. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. M.Bitton (talk) 20:11, 2 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

As you can see this obviously why I have opened this talk page. I have discussed with previous users and followed their advice on giving my reference as you can also see on my edit. Zagora9 (talk) 20:28, 2 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
The trouble is you continued to edit war over your change despite: a) the fact that it has been reverted multiples times and b) having been asked to "not reinstate your changes once after they have been reverted". I suggest you use the article's talk page instead and try to convince the others about the merits of your edit. M.Bitton (talk) 20:53, 2 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
You do not need to cause a Edit Warring M.Bitton. I would recommend you to do your research instead of trying to change what is in there. You have been given sources and should be satisfied with that. Zagora9 (talk) 21:18, 2 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
