- We can certainly keep the conversation on your talk page. I would be grateful if you would ping me when you leave a message for me here, as I am unlikely to be checking this page regularly. Have you created a course page with the education program?

- I haven't yet created a course page, but have begun the process by requesting the instructor right. I'm still waiting for something to happen on that front. Will someone notify me if I've got the instructor right? I need it to create a course page because my institution isn't already listed, so I need to create it. My students are in the process of planning out their projects, so we don't have an immediate need but I am sure once they begin such projects a course page will be immensely helpful. I also have two students thinking of working on translation projects -- do they need to complete a certain number of minor edits to do so, and do you have any recommendations for best practices in terms of getting their work to "stick"? What about students who are adding content? -- We worked on three minor edits under my account name as a class, and two were reverted (I've sent messages asking for specific feedback, but still waiting). Again, this is all new to me, so my apologies for all of the questions!

- I am glad to answer as many questions as I am able! It looks like you've submitted your request for the instructor right correctly; I expect that someone will respond to your request soon. Your students don't need to have made unrelated edits before engaging in translation; I'm glad you are planning on getting involved in that area of Wikipedia! You can find information about translation on Wikipedia here. I have reviewed the edits that were reverted, and my first recommendation would be to avoid adding image galleries to Wikipedia, especially with test images. Image galleries are largely being phased out of the project, and the file "Example.jpg" is not meant to go on live articles, but just on test articles, such as in sandboxes. If you have any more specific questions on this front, please let me know. A good rule of thumb is to only edit an article in such a way that it seems to improve the article. Testing out how to do different things on Wikipedia should be reserved for sandboxes. Neelix (talk) 23:57, 13 November 2013 (UTC)
