  • An album by a noteworthy band is an assertion of notability; in any case, the db-band template is appropriate and it probably won't be speedied. You'd have better luck with a PROD, I think. JuJube (talk) 01:35, 3 February 2008 (UTC)

AfD nomination of Oxford Round Table

An editor has nominated Oxford Round Table, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Oxford Round Table and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. ColdmachineTalk 23:02, 6 February 2008 (UTC)

Lyndon Slewidge

I'm confused. I have a note on my talk page that the page I added on Lyndon Slewidge has been marked for speedy deletion. Yet the page is not marked for speedy deletion and it has way more content than I ever added. The history page has nothing but my New addition. What happened? In case you are interested re: User:No Oven For Me

I believe the admin behavior in this case, given that the editor had yet to make an article space edit and was attempting to seek help in good faith, fails WP:BITE. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.7.146.249 (talk) 21:49, 13 February 2008 (UTC)

An Arbitration case in which you commented has been opened, and is located here. Please add any evidence you may wish the Arbitrators to consider to the evidence sub-page, Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration/Mantanmoreland/Evidence. Please submit your evidence within one week, if possible. You may also contribute to the case on the workshop sub-page, Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration/Mantanmoreland/Workshop.

Mantanmoreland evidence page

Re this thread: Wikipedia_talk:Requests_for_arbitration/Mantanmoreland/Evidence#Sauce_for_goose.2C_sauce_for_gander:_where.27s_Weiss.27s_wife_on_WP.3F

  • The above thread will stay closed and I hope we don't see any more similar threads. There is no need to hypothesize about RL off wiki interaction. Absent a specific request from an arb to provide such input, contact myself or an arb if you truly feel a need to bring this material up-you could also email it to the arb email list. User:Jayvdb will be making a workshop proposal on this issue. RlevseTalk 12:30, 16 February 2008 (UTC)

Deletion of page Џон Вејн

Can you tell me why my page was deleted ? I'm new to this , and my first page was deleted. Can you tell me where did i make wrong and how can i fix that and get my page back. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Igor bulovski (talkcontribs) 02:22, 21 February 2008 (UTC)

Would you make an addition to the Oxford Round Table article?

Would you insert some material from the 1993 Times piece I mentioned into the article text? Perhaps it could become paragraph two of the "Conferences" section, starting, "One of the earliest conferences, in 1993,..." I can send you the entire article if you don't have access. Thanks.Academic38 (talk) 17:01, 26 February 2008 (UTC)

I have put the article in your sandbox and put proposed language on the ORT talk page, as you asked.Academic38 (talk) 20:41, 26 February 2008 (UTC)

I just wanted to acknowledge you that I have nominated the article Observed Performance and Effects of Communism for deletion. Otolemur crassicaudatus (talk) 11:04, 28 February 2008 (UTC)
