I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! Copyright[edit]

I'm sorry, but we cannot normally accept text or images published previously outside Wikipedia unless they are licensed to us for use. Wikipedia is licensed under Creative Commons CC-BY-SA for reuse by anyone anywhere subject only to an acknowledgement (usually in the form of a URL acknowledgement). Your material is not already so licensed, and you do not say that it is in the public domain (evidence would be required). There is a procedure for this licensing which is linked to in WP:COPYVIO. An editor or editors who are unknown to us cannot merely assert that permission has been given - it has to be given by the copyright holder him/her/it-self. I would advise you to enquire further at User talk:Moonriddengirl about this matter. She is one of the few paid workers for the Wikimedia Foundation, and as a volunteer here is probably our top expert on copyright matters. The article is not lost; any deleted article may be restored by an administrator (with very rare exceptions that do not apply here). I would not advise reposting until the concerns of both sides in this matter have been properly addressed. Peridon (talk) 12:16, 13 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I've left a note for MRG, and found she may not be around much till the 16th. Not long, in geological terms... Peridon (talk) 12:31, 13 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits[edit]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button or located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when they said it. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 09:16, 14 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
