You've set out an ambitious plan for improving the Fireproofing article! You might consider focusing on just a few of the areas that you've identified. With so much already in the article, it may be difficult to see the knowledge gaps, but one that I noticed was the early 20th-century practice of encasing structural steel framing in concrete. Is that covered by any of your sources? If not, try here:
