I am surprised. This picture is mine and I released it as such. At least the way I can understand how to do it. Editing Wikipedia is something very confusing. I read now Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials and I do not understand a word of how to do it. All the pictures I will place on the page (sandbox now) are mine and I still have the original. The copyright holder is the photographer (i.e. the person who took the photo), rather that the subject (the person who appears in the photo) or the person possessing the photo, unless transferred by operation of law (e.g. inheritance, etc.) or by contract (written and signed by the copyright holder, and explicitly transfers the copyright). Evidence of any transfer of licencing must be sent via one of the Volunteer Response Teams.

I'm sure you will find this very pedantic. However, imagine if you see that someone has taken your copyright picture and published it without your consent, and how angry and abused you would feel. Conflict of interest[edit]

If you are connected to someone or something you have written about (a few examples are writing about yourself, your business, your band, a member of your family, your client) then you should be aware that Wikipedia's conflict of interest guideline discourages you from writing about that subject. One of the main reasons for that is that experience over the years indicates that editors with such a connection to a subject they are writing about are likely to find it very difficult, or even impossible, to stand back from their writing and see how it will look from the detached perspective of an outsider, so that they are likely to write in ways that look promotional to others, even if they sincerely think they are writing in a neutral way. A plan for the future[edit]

First, please stop trying to upload pictures until you understand the very difficult area of copyright ownership.

You must show that you either own the copyright or have rights to upload the picture(s) by sending evidence that the image is under an acceptable free licence. Evidence of any transfer of licencing must be sent via c:COM:VRT (For Wikimedia Commons) or WP:VRT for the ENglish Lagunage Wikipedia.

Second, notability: It is obvious that your late husband is notable in your eyes. To have an article accepted you must show that he passes WP:BIO, probably WP:NARTIST. No pass equals no article.

Third, why not try to create w:it:Jean-Pierre Groppx. The italian Wikipedia may have less strict rules than we do.

Fourth, and maybe this should be first, why do you wish to create an article on him? Wikipedia is not a site to memorialise him; WP:NOTMEMORIAL discourages any memorialisations. If a memorial is your intention, please don't try to create one here. We record what is said in multiple, reliable, secondary sources about a subject. No multiple, reliable, secondary sources? Oh I see, but this "home of great Macchiaioli... " is to situates the style of the painting... This could be usefull for a person that knows about painting...
