List of people...

Thanks for removing the speedy, and for your thoughtful advice. My fondness for the list does not quite outweigh my distaste for deletion/undeletion process, so if others continue to press the issue, I'll consider resorting to that (or just let it die quietly). Meanwhile, I'm hoping the undeletion will stand as an instance of ignoring all rules, without further intervention.--ragesoss 00:59, 10 August 2007 (UTC)

correction

I needed to correct you on AN/I regarding district courts. They do not have "divisions". The individual districts have their own districts. i.e. United States District Court for the Northern District of New York. Division is not a word used there at all. Missing?

On 26 August I put a request (or is it called something else) on the administrators notice board/incidents that seems to have disappeared without my getting a response: [1] Since you had placed a comment on another question I had there (and is still there), I thought you might be able to tell me what has become of it. Thank you. Kwork 17:55, 28 August 2007 (UTC)

NeutralHomer

You're right: I mixed up -- God knows how -- his reply as being in response to a message I left for VigilancePrime on August 29th, not to an earlier message (which I'd forgotten about) I'd left for VigilancePrime on August 23rd. I blame sloppy reading, and thank you for bring that to my attention.

On the other hand, he HAS been stalking my edits (he left off the other part of my message to him), and the genral principle still applies. --Calton | Talk 11:18, 2 September 2007 (UTC)

Abuse Truth

Thanks for the head up. I am not sure how we got confused. I have been at loggerheads with abuse truth also. I wrote on his/her page "are you here to 'abuse the truth', or speak the 'truth about abuse.'"

My recent RfA

Thank you for supporting my RfA, which unfortunately didn't succeed. The majority of the opposes stated that I needed more experience in the main namespace and Wikipedia namespace, so that is what I will do. I will go for another RfA in two month's time and I hope you will be able to support me then as well. If you have any other comments for me or wish to be notified when I go for another RfA, please leave them on my talk page. If you wish to nominate me for my next RfA, please wait until it has been two months. Thanks again for participating in my RfA! -- Cobi(t|c|b|cn) 02:06, 12 October 2007 (UTC)

Hello, if you're wondering, I ran into the above page through new page patrol, and marked it as re-created deleted material. I put the standard templates on the users talk page, and it appears he followed the advice given and created a deletion review. Thank you for putting the right tag on the article, I will watch how the Del Rev goes. Camaron1 | Chris 19:32, 22 October 2007 (UTC)

OhanaUnited's RfA

RfA

I considered not spamming talk pages but not saying "thanks" just isn't me. The support was remarkable and appreciated. I only hope that I am able to help a little on here. Please let me know if I can help you or equally if you find any of my actions questionable. Thanks & regards --Herby talk thyme 12:40, 16 November 2007 (UTC)

Apology accepted

So, yes, I have been contributing quite appropriately and constructively for quite some time. So I did respond on AN/I thread. Caffehamp (talk) 06:57, 17 November 2007 (UTC)

Ivan Stefanović

Hi there, is there any chance that you could help me out here? I'm afraid I've had a few drinks so I'm not sure if I can make a WP:CIVIL reply! Phil Bridger (talk) 22:10, 22 November 2007 (UTC)

No need for this now - I've pointed the guy who wanted this deleted to WP:BIO. I still find it incredible that anyone could think that a footballer who has been called up to a national squad is not notable. Phil Bridger (talk) 11:37, 23 November 2007 (UTC)

Dept. of Homeland Security, etc - reply

It might be my mistake, (quite probable) but I thought I saw this page fall off of Newpages and then re-appear at the top. Might be a server error with newpages, too. Shadowblade (talk) 05:42, 30 November 2007 (UTC)

DEFAULTSORT

Hi Jahiegel, I have noticed you have been adding the DEFAULTSORT template to articles recently. Just to let you know that this feature is a magic word and not a template, and the correct construction is {{DEFAULTSORT:Sortkey}} rather than {{DEFAULTSORT|Sortkey}} or {{defaultsort|Sortkey}}, using ":" instead of "|". The template was created to prevent confusion and shouldn't be used. Please ask if you have any questions. Thanks, mattbr 14:28, 2 December 2007 (UTC)

Thank you

That's really kind, Joe, thank you. The feedback means a lot. :-) SlimVirgin (talk)(contribs) 08:41, 10 December 2007 (UTC)

Great success!

I was unaware of the BLP Arbitration ruling, and it was not directly cited in Daniel's speedy deletion. Superm401 - Talk 16:00, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
