Welcome[edit]

Hello, Hassan tajideen, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I notice that in your first edits, at Portal:Contents/Portals/People and self, you appear to be writing about yourself. This is a common mistake made by new Wikipedians—as this is an encyclopedia, we wouldn't expect to have an article about every contributor. Your user page, however, is a great place to write about yourself, making sure to stay within user page guidelines. Just click your user name at the top of the screen when you are logged in, and edit it normally.

I have restored the page you edited.

Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! -- John of Reading (talk) 19:31, 4 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Submitting AfC drafts[edit]

The submit template should be placed on the page you want to submit, not here. Jackmcbarn (talk) 21:20, 7 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Hassan tajideen, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. I can't Find My Wiki![edit]

Dear Sir,

I have edited the title of my Wikipedia the last Friday, I am surprised that my pages are deleted without knowing the reason why. Could you please explain to know what should be done? Waiting for your response in the soonest.

Kinds Regards,

Hassan -- 07:40, 24 November 2014 (UTC)

The page was deleted because it was too promotional in nature. An encyclopedia article about you isn't supposed to make you look good. Also, please read WP:PSCOI. Jackmcbarn (talk) 23:07, 24 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

How can we solve this Issue?

Hi Hassan. Your article was deleted because it appeared promotional. So, not written neutrally enough and maybe not enough good, independent reliable sources. In general, users are strongly advised against writing articles about themselves which it appear you may have done. I understand these rules are not quite easy to understand and it's irritating to see your work deleted after you have spent time on it. If you want others than me to comment, you may add the "help me" template to this page, raise the issue at WP:Teahouse, at the help desk or talk to someone at IRC. See more about these options here. March 2016[edit]

You were told as far back as December 2012 that writing about yourself on Wikipedia is not a good idea, but you continue to try to do so; in fact, your only purpose here seems to be to get a page about yourself posted. You have at least twice asked for advice at the help desk, and been given advice, but you seem unwilling to accept the advice. Wikipedia is not a web host for holding personal web pages unrelated to work on building the encyclopaedia. You are, of course, welcome to make contributions to the encyclopaedia, in line with Wikipedia policies and guidelines, but if your purpose is to write a personal web page, then you would be better advised to use one of the many web sites which do provide that sort of service, such as a social network site or a web hosting service. You should also be aware that administrators can block editors whose purpose here seems to be promotion of any sort, including self-promotion.
