Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Earth 2, appears to have been inappropriate, and has been reverted. Please feel free to use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. --David Biddulph (talk) 04:16, 16 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks[edit]

ok I apologize about Earth 2 I didn't try to post it and I am now trying to fix it as we speak if you continue se this mistake let me know plz Devonte1992 (talk) 04:22, 16 November 2016 (UTC) one more thing how to I make a page for my version of earth 2 its from my book I'm writing Devonte1992 (talk) 04:24, 16 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

You don't. Anything to do with a book that you're writing does NOT belong on Wikipedia. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia on subjects which already have significant coverage in published reliable sources independent of the subject. If you want a web host for something that you are inventing, there are many web hosts available. Wikipedia is not a web host. --David Biddulph (talk) 04:32, 16 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

ok[edit]

oh ok I think I understand now so since my book is not published yet I cant make a wikia page about it until it is published is that right??Devonte1992 (talk) 04:36, 16 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

For what is permitted at Wikia, you need to ask there. This is Wikipedia, not Wikia. --David Biddulph (talk) 04:43, 16 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

everything I have in my sandbox I have to delete.. if I dnt Wikipedia will delete anywayDevonte1992 (talk) 04:37, 16 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on User:Devonte1992/sandbox requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section U5 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to consist of writings, information, discussions, and/or activities not closely related to Wikipedia's goals. Please note that Wikipedia is not a free Web hosting service. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. ??[edit]

ok so will my account be deleted as well or just my sandbox info??Devonte1992 (talk) 15:52, 16 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

We are not going to delete your account, but please do not write any more made-up material here. Wikipedia is an encyclopaedia; subjects should already be out there in the real world, and should be notable. SpinningSpark 23:30, 16 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Ok cool so how can I write a article on here without people seeing it for practice? ?Devonte92 (talk) 23:56, 16 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

You can't. Anything you post here is licensed for public viewing and use or re-use. If you want to write about your own works, etc., you will need to find a webhost, or pay to set up a Wikia site for your work. (Wikipedia is a wiki, but most wikis are not Wikipedia, least of all Wikia's wikis.) --Orange Mike | Talk 00:13, 17 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Oh ok I understand now thank you for clearing it up for meDevonte92 (talk) 00:15, 17 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
