Hi, I'm Mr. Responsible!

I hail from North America; specifically, I grew up in Oregon, but since 2005 I burn under a Texas sun.

I had lost the password to my early-2000s account, and no longer have the associated e-mail address (anyone remember Rocketmail?), so I created this account a few years back to allow me to keep contributing to Wikipedia. I had gone for a few years without updating this page, but it seemed like it might be time.

I frequently correct spelling, grammar, and sentence clarity. I am especially interested in making content translated from other languages feel "at home" here in the English Wikipedia.

I am forever interested in world geography, world geology, history (especially that of the Pacific Northwest and U.S. Intermountain West, my twin homelands, and also that of Roman Britain, the Caucasus, Australia, and Palestine/Israel), the great Abrahamic faiths, and languages (although I speak only a little Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese).
