Hello, I'm LovesMacs (talk) 00:00, 18 November 2008 (UTC). I know it's a silly name but there's a story behind that. After many attempts to find a name reflecting my interests that wasn't already taken, I chose this one because I enjoy Macintosh computers. I actually enjoy other things even more, such as reading, photography, music, and traveling. I will read almost anything, but I especially like history, religion, mythology, and literature in general.
I am currently reading the novel Children of the Black Sabbath by Anne Hébert, in order to write about it here at English Wikipedia. I may well write about it over at French Wikipedia too because the article over there is not very developed.
Acraea terpsicore, commonly known as the tawny coster, is a species of butterfly in the Nymphalidae family, the brush-footed butterflies. It is found across eastern Asia from India and Sri Lanka to Singapore, Indonesia and the Maldives and, more recently, Australia. It is small, with a size of 53–64 millimetres (2.1–2.5 in), has leathery wings and is common in grassland and scrub habitats. Acraea terpsicore has a weak fluttery flight and is avoided by most insect predators. This A. terpsicore individual was photographed in Komodo National Park, Indonesia.

Nicholas of Worcester (died 1124) was the prior of the Benedictine priory of Worcester Cathedral(crypt pictured) from about 1115 until his death. He was born around the time of the Norman Conquest. It is not known who his parents were, but William of Malmesbury wrote that he was "of exalted descent", and it has been argued that he was a son of King Harold Godwinson. Nicholas was the favourite pupil of Wulfstan, the bishop of Worcester, who brought him up. Wulfstan was influential in transmitting Old English culture to Anglo-Norman England, and Nicholas carried on this work as prior. He was respected by the chroniclers William of Malmesbury, John of Worcester and Eadmer for his assistance with their histories. Nicholas was an English monk at a time when both Englishmen and monks rarely received promotion in the church, and when Bishop Theulf of Worcester died in October 1123, Nicholas led an unsuccessful attempt of the monks of the priory chapter to be allowed to choose the next bishop. PersianPoetGal here, pleasure to make your acquaintance. I'm a half Persian (Iranian) female born and raised in great sunny California! I enjoy many things such as poetry (obvious of course), reading, writing, history, playing video games, filmmaking, light programming, and just making a person's day better :). I used to be active at the Windows Movie Maker Forums but now I have sort of semi-retired due to being crammed with my studies. I also contributed to "The Persian Page", a page devoted to implementing custom effects and transitions into Windows Movie Maker 2 using xml which is hosted and now fully edited by "PapaJohn" Buechler. I am an administrator (see my Request for Adminship) on the English Wikipedia and I voluntarily patrol the "Recent Changes Page". While on patrol I keep on the lookout to make sure articles are free of vandalism and abide by the Wikipedia Golden Rules :P. I also help create Wikipedia Ads for different WikiProjects, see this page for details. Believe it or not I start new articles and edit pre-existing ones every now and then! So please feel free to mercilessly edit any of my Wiki-Contributions just the same. I honestly feel there is always someone who can add a little extra ;). However, those not-so-nice enough to vandalize my page or anyone else's for that matter, it will not do you any good. Thanks for reading a little bit about me :D!
This spoof of a well known search engine was inspired by Swatjester's (originally Gurch's) spoof of a well known social networking site. It is important to remember however that Wikipedia is neither :P.
