Reverted redirect on unreleased albums

When articles about albums are created, we are required to meet specific criteria for inclusion in the encyclopedia. All articles on albums, singles or other recordings must meet the basic criteria at the notability guidelines, with significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject. Unreleased material is only notable if it has significant independent coverage in reliable sources. An album should not have an article independent from the artist until its title, track listing and release date have all been publicly confirmed by the artist or their record label. When this information is lacking, the community guidelines require redirecting the article to that of the artist. Therefore, the ---- article has been redirected to the ---- article. Outside of redirecting the article (or merging sourced content), our only option is deletion and salting. The article would be placed for community discussion, which would likely result in redirecting the article, with the option of protecting it from further creation. Accordingly, please do not restore the article content without the basic information required, supported by sources. For more information, please review: WP:NALBUMS and WP:CRYSTAL. Reverted redirect on unreleased songs

When articles about songs are created, we are required to meet specific criteria for inclusion in the encyclopedia. All articles on singles or other recordings must meet the basic criteria at the notability guidelines, with significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject. Unreleased material (or material available exclusively through download) is only notable if it has significant independent coverage in reliable sources. Most songs do not rise to notability for an independent article and should redirect to another relevant article, such as for the songwriter, a prominent album, or for the artist who prominently performed the song. Songs that have been ranked on national or significant music charts, that have won significant awards or honors or that have been independently released as a recording by several notable artists, bands or groups may be notable. Notability aside, a separate article on a song is only appropriate when there is enough verifiable material to warrant a reasonably detailed article; articles unlikely ever to grow beyond stubs should be merged to articles about an artist or album. Due to a lack of notability and failure to meet the guidelines for inclusion, the ---- article has been redirected to the ---- article. Outside of redirecting the article (or merging the content), our only option is deletion and salting. Accordingly, please do not restore the article content without the basic information required, supported by sources. For more information, please review: WP:NSONGS and WP:CRYSTAL. Promotional content v advertising

There is often semantic confusion over the definition of publicity, promotion, and advertising. One of the ways to better understand the criteria pertaining to appropriate inclusion on Wikipedia is to determine if the article has been written or edited in an attempt to manage the public's perception of the subject of the article, or to initiate or enhance an event. Common subjects of articles that are often written to promote include persons or groups (for example, political candidates and performing artists), products and services, organizations and events of all kinds, and works of art or entertainment. Mere publicity, promotion, and advertising need not reference sales or content pertaining to the quality or feasibility of the subject of the article. Simply announcing the existence of a subject, while failing to indicate how or why the subject may be important or significant would be considered inappropriate. Notability must be established and presented through reliable and independent sources before inclusion on Wikipedia can be accepted. You can read more about our notability guidelines HERE and HERE. Hope this helps. If you have more questions, feel free to contact me anytime.
