Hurricane Cesar–Douglas.-- I was one year and nine months old. I don't remember that hurricane...
Hurricane Mitch.-- I was four years old. Managua and its houses (including mine) looked like a big pool or Venezia that i wanted to swim!!! It was flooded because of the heavy rains and the Lake Managua (the distance from my house is only two kilometers).
Hurricane Katrina.-- Yes, Katrina brought indirect effects to my country such as: heavy rain and thunderstorms. I was ten years and ten months old. Also hurricanes Stan, Rita and the beautiful Wilma did it.
Hurricane Beta in that year.-- I was eleven years old. Impacted the Caribbean region.
Hurricane Felix in 2007.-- Minor damages in Managua. I was twelve years and ten months old.
Tropical Storm Alma in 2008.-- I was thirteen years old. It brought a day with rainfall without sun.
Tropical Storm Hanna in 2014. It was a sunny day in Managua, no rains recorded. Also the disturbance that formed TS Trudy, and its remnants formed Hanna, affected the Pacific coast of the country. I mean, the "system" yield a return.
Tropical Storm Selma from Pacific and Nate from the Caribbean. The last one, made catastrophic track throughout the country. It rained in the area where I was living...
Hurricane Eta and Iota on November 2020. Wow... Two tropical cyclones in one month. Managua was rainy and windy.
