Hi, I am thinking about the Coat of arms of the empire as intersting variant, here some suggestions I created, I don't know whether they are better from the present, but are good looking, do you like them what do you think?
Look for a tall, not wide picture. Except for the 'coat of arms', the current pictures you have suggested are all too wide. As for the coat of arms, it's just an image of a Bulgarian shield recorded by an Arab geographer. Yes, it was probably the symbol of Bulgaria at the time, but it probably looked slightly different than that. And it's not that recognizable to be fair. Suggestion 2 would have been OK if the photo was vertical, suggestion 3 is pretty bad (it's just mountains and fog, and suggestion 3 is not clear enough from a distance. It doesn't have to be Tsarevets, it can be Asenova Krepost or some church, fresco or manuscript. It just ought to be vertical and good-looking as a small image :) — ToдorBoжinov — 19:11, 17 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
