Add clickable link?[edit]

The following text will produce a clickable link within the template.

'''[{{SERVER}}{{localurl:{{NAMESPACE}}:{{PAGENAME}}|action=edit&section=new}} Please click here to start a new topic]

which produces the equivalent of Please click here to start a new topic

If there are no objections, I will amend the template. I see a few people are using it, so I thought I would discuss changes first. --A Y Arktos 22:47, 16 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Revised wording[edit]

I think the current wording 'Please post new messages at the bottom of my talk page. Please use headlines when starting new talk topics. Thank you.' is not as clear as it might be for inexperienced users at whom this template is aimed. I suggest the following:

'Please post new messages at the bottom of this talk page. Please use a subject headline when starting a new talk topic. Thank you.'

May I have comments/ideas, please? Also what do folks think about the suggestion of a clickable link, above? Just Chilling (talk) 19:50, 17 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
