The article is new, long enough, neutral, properly cited, and free of plagarism (AGF on non-English sources). There is no need for QPQ in this case. The hook is long enough, but it is not accurate. Specifically, the UEFA Nations League will not largely replace friendly matches, it will largely replace friendly matches among UEFA members. The hook needs to reflect this, preferably using better wording than I just used. Please propose a suitable alt and then ping me. Sven Manguard Wha? 05:19, 31 March 2014 (UTC)

- You can't review your own suggested hooks. I know it is similar, but I'm not sure you should carry on reviewing this, if it all goes wrong and the reviewer has approved their own hook there can be big trouble. - Sven, since you added a new fact (that the league is only going to replace most of the friendly matches between UEFA members), ALT2 needs to be vetted by another reviewer. BlueMoonset (talk) 18:37, 1 April 2014 (UTC)
Article is long enough, new enough, and neutral. I didn't detect any copyright violations, at least from the sources that are in English. The hook is verifiable. The source says that the precise format of the competition has yet to be confirmed but it is understood that there is almost unanimous support for a biennial event which would replace friendly games
