- The article was promoted to Good Article status on 28th Feb, so is eligible.
- No issues with writing style or close paraphrasing/copyvio noted.
- I have spot-checked a number of sources for factual accuracy, reliability and absence of close paraphrasing; all looks fine. Sourcing is of good quality (BBC, RTÉ, national/regional newspapers and so on).
- He is an active footballer, so I have checked that the article is reasonably stable and is being updated regularly with latest appearance/goal stats.
- Good hook, appropriately sourced.
A good-quality article about a footballer whose goalscoring exploits have made him very prominent this year. I would expect plenty of page views. I did check Commons for more recent pics but his Shamrock Rovers photo is the only one out there.
