Proper names[edit]

The use of last names alone, without any background, throughout this page had me constantly going off to see other pages. Defining who you are talking about would help. Phrases like “German transcendentalist G. Schmidt” rather than just “Schmidt” would tell enough to keep me here, or to know if my interest should carry me away.
