Visa on arrival[edit]

The colors of the map should match the convention on other visa policy pages.

Also, for countries with visa on arrival, it would be better to include the price for the VOA of each country. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Wingedbeaver (talkcontribs) 00:44, 2 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

E-visa for Mexican citizens[edit]

Hello, I would like to request a relocation of Mexico from "Conditional e-visa" to "E-visa" section (and subsequently change the colour of the map). There are absolutely no conditions for Mexican passport holders to obtain an e-visa for Turkey and it is misleading to have people believe that there is a condition for obtaining a visa. I understand that below the section, there is an asterisk that states that Mexican passport holders are exempt from "holding a round-trip ticket to Istanbul Ataturk Airport with Turkish Airlines". It would be more sensible to relocate Mexico under the section of "E-visa" and put next to it "1 month" for that is the validity of the e-visa, as is the case with Armenia, Bahrain, Belarus, Indonesia, etc... Please see the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs website [1] for reference. Regards, Aquintero82, (talk), 27 May 2014, 15:03 (UTC)

Not sure what to do with this one, the same MFA says that Mexico is under "Citizens of these countries are also eligible to apply for e-Visa under certain conditions:" - [2] and there were no separate news from Turkey in the meantime on changing the visa policy regarding Mexico.--Twofortnights (talk) 14:32, 27 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Would it be safe to assume that the information you've provided maybe out of date? (i.e April 2013). It is the only website that I can find that mentions anything about 'conditional e-visas'. On the e-visa website itself, it allows you to create an application and there are no conditions mentioned [3]. The reason why I'm pushing for this change is because I recently traveled to Turkey (on my Mexican passport) and there were no conditions whatsoever, and I would also like to mention; Turkish e-visas for Mexican passport holders are free of charge (reciprocation). Regards, Aquintero82, (talk), 27 May 2014, 16:03 (UTC)
Well I did assume that, but what puzzles me is that there was no update in the meantime, like for an example [4] --Twofortnights (talk) 16:20, 27 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, the example you've given is for Hungarian citizens (Macaristan). Could you please give me the link for Mexico?. Regards, Aquintero82, (talk), 27 May 2014, 18:02 (UTC)

The point of my comment was that there is no equivalent for Mexico (or that at least I can't find it).--Twofortnights (talk) 17:04, 27 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry, but I'm just not convinced. Here are several other reputable links that prove otherwise. You seem to be fixated on that one link that states 'conditional e-visas' which is no longer valid:

Poland[edit]

Polish citizens can now travel to Turkey with no visa: http://www.todayszaman.com/national_turkey-reciprocally-lifts-visa-requirements-with-poland_366440.html--94.197.121.86 (talk) 00:32, 9 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned references in Visa policy of Turkey[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Visa policy of Turkey's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Visa policy map update[edit]

Hello, Can someone please update the map according the updated visa policy published on Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ website? I edited the conditional electronic visa/ sticker visa required countries’ list but unfortunately I’m not able to update the map. Thank you. 176.55.61.103 (talk) 23:35, 10 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Visa policy map[edit]

@RAGentry: @Lades2222: Turkey also issues 30-day multiple-entry evisa, so these two categories (multiple and single) should be painted differently, or we may ignore numbers of entry, only mark duration of stay on the map to avoid being too complex. PS: All conditional evisa seems 30-day single-entry. --Whisper of the heart (talk) 15:44, 16 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry, but I'm in a cold sweat because you arbitrarily moved a private discussion between individuals to a public discussion.
However, as per your opinion, i'll remove 'single' next to the e-Visa phrase. :) Lades2222 (talk) 19:53, 16 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Actually there's no "private" conversation on Wikipedia unless you Email them, it will alliow more people to participate by moving this talk. Howevwr, since this topic is almost solved, it's okay to keep it there.
PS: There's a new draft, welcome to give advice.--Whisper of the heart (talk) 03:20, 17 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I know your mean. But that was something discussed in my discussion room. I would like you to discuss these things with me before you take them. Lades2222 (talk) 13:19, 17 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
