Relative of Jesus?[edit]

If Judas Thaddaeus was the same person as Jude, the brother of Jesus, then he was of course related. But if he was not, what evidence is there for any relation? Would it not be more accurate to say that some people think he may have been related to Jesus? --Hors-la-loi (talk) 08:38, 6 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Title[edit]

The usage of both the English and Spanish forms of the name in the title seems rather clunky to me, especially since the article goes on to state "Judas Thaddaeus (or San Judas Tadeo in Spanish)" and uses the Spanish name much more often. Surely we should either move the article to the English name (Veneration of Judas Thaddaeus in Mexico) and use the English name consistently (except for direct quotations) with a simple translation note at the first instance or we should move the article to the Spanish name (Veneration of San Judas Tadeo in Mexico) and use that throughout (again, with a simple translation note at the first usage). --Khajidha (talk) 13:00, 6 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I see your point. I put both in because Judas Thaddaeus is not a well known saint and even English speakers in Mexico refer to him by the Spanish name rather than the English/Latin. Also interesting to note that there is a redirect in en.wiki from San Judas Tadeo. Ill leave it to consensus as to what changes, if any are to be made.Thelmadatter (talk) 18:53, 6 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
