Comparing Tintin magazine with other French language cartoon magazines[edit]
As suggested by Murgh in a request for citation, it would be useful for this article to include comparative information on Spirou and Mickey magazines. (And Pilote, the Asterix magazine.) This would entail expanding the scope of the 'Spirou and Tintin rivalry' section. Since these magazines catered to somewhat distinct elements of French-speaking society in a way similiar to that of the choice of subscribing to The Washington Post or to The Wall Street Journal, it might be interesting to write about these magazines' different approaches to target readership and about their respective editorial policies. As long as it isn't original research or synthesis (see WP:SYNTH), this may be interesting. Fram 19:45, 25 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
If there are good refs for this sort of text that would be great, even though they'd unlikely be in English. Article~list Franco-Belgian comics magazines would also benefit from such a source. MURGHdisc. 20:11, 25 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
There is the very famous book Le duel Tintin-Spirou, a reference for all fans of franco-belgian comics. --Pah777 (talk) 23:38, 8 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Interesting source, thank you! Will someone work it into the article? A sentence or two? Alpha Ralpha Boulevard (talk) 17:29, 9 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Would anyone feel like adding a list of comics published in the magazine, similar to the one in the Spirou article? 惑乱 Wakuran (talk) 00:40, 28 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Well, I added the basics now, anyway. Feel free to improve it. 惑乱 Wakuran (talk) 16:55, 30 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
