So good that it was bad?[edit]

In "Publication and Reception" we are told how good the novel was; that it was an "incredible success". Yet the only thing approaching a quote from a review is a statement from Gore Vidal panning the book?

Huh? A deeper and more balanced perspective is needed in this section.
