Dedicated 1986 or 1896?[edit]

So the source indeed says: "Dates: 1894. Cast 1895. Dedicated 1986."^[1] Could that be a typo? It was dedicated 90 years after it was cast? Seems like 1896 would make more sense? - Kzirkel (talk) 20:47, 7 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Kzirkel, Possibly, but I've also seen the same survey mention rededication dates, so that's another possibility. We'll need to find book/news coverage for more detail, methinks. ---Another Believer _(Talk) 00:58, 8 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
