Name change[edit]

"the family changed it to Boenisch, because his father was denied a job due to his Polish surname" = non-sense! Because "Boenisch" was the original name of his family - of his (German) grandparents. "Pniowski" was after the WWII the Polish name thery were forced by the new Polish administration to use instead. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2001:16b8:2b21:1f00:1cd1:80d9:b390:67df (talkcontribs) 01:02, 6 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Do you have a source to back that up?
What we currently have is sourced to a newspaper article by Express (Cologne newspaper). Not great, but better than nothing. I changed the wording to more accurately reflect what the source states. Robby.is.on (talk) 07:15, 6 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
