Thank you. I was about to request protection. The other editor has an imperfect understanding of how categories work. Once an article has been properly diffused to its lowest level, then you don't put in the parent categories, otherwise there would be no end to the categories. He fails to grasp this despite my repeatedly explaining it. Since every Eastern Catholic church is, by definition, also a church that is in communion with the Holy See, then it is superfluous to include the Roman Catholic category that is it's parent. • Well, this is fun. If it weren't protected I'd remove two external links right now: this is dead, and the link is inappropriate since the article is about a church, not an eparchy, which in any case is renamed Ruthenian Catholic Eparchy of Holy Protection of Mary Phoenix and already has an article, where the correct link can be placed; the link to the Vatican is of course very inappropriate. See WP:EL. Then, Dataproducts keeps reinserting "Category:Roman Catholic churches in California"--whether that's included or not in Category:Roman Catholic Churches in California isn't immediately visible to me (I'd like to see the family tree), but at any rate it's a huge step, from the particular to the general. It seems possible to me that Dataproducts (Kudpung, is that name in agreement with our policy?) does not know very well how categories work. It does, however, seem reasonable to me to add Category:Ruthenian Catholic Church. As for the claims of (and charge of) ownership, "I wrote this entire wiki and you are vandalizing it" seems clear enough. Drmies (talk) 15:12, 31 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
