When I created this page I intended it to be international. To that end I didn't call it Railway, because that's UK/European terminlogy. Similarly I didn't call it Railroad, because that's an American thing amongst others. So I intentionally called it Rail to give it worldwide appeal. And blow me in less than 24 hours somebody had dropped by and changed it to Railway 'for consistency'. Some people need to understand that books aren't categorised according to their colour and shape...it's what they're about that matters. Putting all the blue books together on the blue shelf is not the spirit of an encyclopedia. Dr Sludge (talk) 16:18, 17 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

My intention with the first page move was to remove the hyphen and replace it with parentheses as with a number of rail-related topics. That is where the consistency came in. I have moved it again and changed the (railway) to (rail). -=# Amos E Wolfe talk #=- 16:51, 17 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, thanks for that. Dr Sludge (talk) 16:56, 17 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
