Not a prime minister[edit]

The text:When the War of Independence ended he became the first Prime Minister of the new Republic of Turkey on 11 August 1922.

This is not quite right. The decleration of Turkish Rupublic is on the 29 th of Oct., 1923. Thus, Rauf Orbay was not a prime minister of Turkish Republic. If fact his title was Chief of executive ministers of Turkish parliment. Nedim Ardoğa (talk) 12:37, 9 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Fair comment from Nedim Bey , however, I think that using the simplified term "Prime Minister" is better, given that the role and the function was that anyway. [Ferit Orbay, 2011.9.15] — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ferit1 (talkcontribs) 10:49, 15 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
