Although subject of this entry was a sultan, it is not immediately clear why apart from his title, this person is notable. It should be made clear from the material presented why this is the case. Astral highway (talk) 07:38, 7 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sultan is a title for the head of state in Arabic mainland and should not be apart with the sultan's name, but in Indonesia, especially borneo island, sultan is only a title for the head of state, the naming is according to the Dayak cultural which sultan title is not really important to use for their head of state. But they use Pangeran Ratu which same and refers to sultan in Dayak language. You can see the naming of Sultan of Brunei. They were not using sultan title from the first until recent Sultan, Hassanal Bolkiah.  CHJL  Discuss 11:28, 14 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
