Does anyone know if I am right? 86.52.58.239 (talk) 11:54, 5 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
explain. What is only in Northern Germany?--Estopedist1 (talk) 07:30, 6 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I guess the page should be accordingly renamed to Nord Pool[edit]
I'm not sure how to do it, so would appreciate somebody's help. --Alexis.pasichny (talk) 21:02, 16 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Not sure about this as there has been a company named Nord Pool (now: NASDAQ OMX Commodities Europe) and there are already a lot of confusion between these two companies. One option could be making Nord Pool disambiguation page. Beagel (talk) 18:11, 6 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
The source says that Statnet sold Nord Pool, not Nord Pool Spot. TGCP (talk) 13:20, 5 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, it may be little bit confusing as two different companies with the same origin have used the same name Nord Pool. Original Nord Pool was an energy market derivatives exchange. The link above talks about that Nord Pool which has been renamed NASDAQ OMX Commodities Europe after former shareholders sold it to the Nsdaq OMX. For the spot market activities, a separate company and a separate exchange was established under the name Nord Pool Spot (this article is about that company). It is owned by is owned by the Nordic transmission system operators Statnett SF, Svenska kraftnät, Fingrid, Energinet.dk, Elering, Litgrid and Augstsprieguma tikls. To make it more confusing, Nord Pool Spot adopted last year the name Nord Pool and changed also its logo. So, in different times two different companies has used the name Nord Pool. Support, no need to mention "AS". The business type ("AS", "Inc", "Plc") is usually omitted from our titles. – Thjarkur(talk) 23:12, 3 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Support, Full names are generally used to disambiguate (Apple Inc., Nike, Inc.), so this is unneccessary disambiguation. Lazz_R 16:11, 4 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Comment. Actually, When Nord Pool Spot was moved to Nord Pool AS, the full name was used exactly to disambiguate if from the company which used to be named Nord Pool ASA (now: NASDAQ OMX Commodities Europe). Page Nord Pool was original title of that page and later it was disambiguate page for these two companies. If moved, the page needs hatnote clarification to disambiguate. Beagel (talk) 17:57, 4 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I agree that a hatnote disambiguation would be appropriate, and sufficient. - Ssolbergj (talk) 18:21, 4 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
