All tags removed[edit]

Not sure why this was tagged as unwikified, uncategorized for stubs, marked as having an intro with not enough context and finally marked as an orphaned article! The article is none of those things. Have checked carefully and removed the tags. - Tbsdy lives (talk) 11:51, 5 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Promotional tone[edit]

This article is currently written in a somewhat promotional tone, seemingly intended to display Ms. Campos in the best light. This is not appropriate; Wikipedia articles should be written from a neutral point of view. This article needs to be rewritten. Robofish (talk) 20:04, 4 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Completely agree with Robofish. It's almost as if Campos wrote it herself. Phrases like "tenaciously fought for" do not belong on a page like this. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.169.4.245 (talk) 22:44, 14 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I've toned it down a little more. Yngvadottir (talk) 16:01, 24 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Robofish@Yngvadottir I've toned it down... more. Marleeashton (talk) 02:29, 4 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

What to add[edit]

The article has nothing on her political positions, bills she sponsored, and so on. It also has nothing about the issues with turnover in her State Assembly office and other crticisms. See this article by a reporter who has made a name for himself investigating San Jose politics (and that article also references her husband, who is listed in the infobox), and also here. The Mercury News's coverage of politics is patchy and their online archives also incomplete, so I held off on BLP grounds rather than source these additions entirely to regional political blogs, but there should be something in the article beyond when she was elected to what.
