British English vs. American English?[edit]

Which spelling pattern is primarily used in Trinidad and Tobago? One of the most recent edits was just changing spelling from American to British. According to WP:ENGVAR, the article (since it deals with a location) should be written in the style most suited to the location. --Kierkkadon^{talk/contribs} 16:06, 28 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The anonymous editor making this change seems to be using multiple IP addresses to make these changes (see, for example, 82.153.103.23). As such, I have reverted their changes, pending discussion.

From Trinidadian English: "Trinidadian English was originally based on a standard of British English. Located in the Americas, TE now uses many Americanisms, including apartment and trunk (of a car)."

The revert I made "hung" for a bit. In that interval, I saw the confirm for my earlier revert[1] and checked the two IPs who had edited Laurel forest (both using the same ISP). That was enough for me. This guy's been through before. - SummerPhD (talk) 17:55, 28 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
