This page should not be speedy deleted because... --Girlsounds (talk) 22:49, 26 July 2011 (UTC)girlsounds is legitimate but apparently unrecognized by the global community. Nancy Baron's experience was a common one of talented cute girls of that time. at least in America. She is representative of hundreds or possibly thousands of girls of that era. It is also considered part of the history of music, particularly in the u.S.A. After this period was the Beatles and the British invasion. American singers were trampled on! Girlsounds represents American musical history as does Ms. Baron and her peers, many of whom need to be recognized for their contribution to the music of today. Some are very famous some aren't but this does not negate their part in the creation of today's offshoots. As girls of the time there were tremendous social restrictions. Some could not go anywhere without a chaperone! This genre gave us freedom as well as competed with the male doowop groups who were dominating music at that time. The Beatles could not have existed without any last one of us. What would they have sung if they never heard our music? I believe that all the early rock singers deserve recognition and gratitude. That was not an easy thing to accomplish particularly as a girl. No more white gloves and girdles! Lastly, there are those on the internet who have expressed interest in learning more about Nancy Baron. They stated that they searched Wiki and could find nothing.[reply]

This page should not be speedy deleted because... --Girlsounds (talk) 23:08, 26 July 2011 (UTC) I really resent your paranoia thinking I plageurized an outside source-for your information this was a completely original writing and I'm very knowledgeable about that person and I consider it a compliment to my writing skills to be accused of getting my material from an outside source!!!! ].this was my first article and doubt that I'll waste hours of my time only to be attacked verbally by the nit-pickers who offer little in the way of constructive help. I have seen writing on the 5th grade level here! This was a very "proper article". You determine whether an article is to be deleted based on ignorance and suspician?? Your experienced wiki users should be helpful. There was one who wasn't too bad and a few who treated me as if I'm a person of low degree. Some so-called editors appear to think that they belong to an elitist group. Pathetic. you're now concerned with my format! I am deeply disappointed by Wikipedia.[reply]

I'm not sure who you are referring to here, since you are the only one who has been editing the article (besides the maintenance tags). Anyway, if someone is concerned with the format of the article, it's because Wikipedia has a standard way of presenting articles -- see the page WP:Manual of Style. You can't take it personally when another editor changes something in the article, since collaboration is what Wikipedia is meant to represent. ... discospinster talk 02:43, 28 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I notice that those who viciously accused me of "cutting and Pasting" aren't stepping forward. Then there was someone whose wiki name was"Beast" something who thought I "knew too much" and was highly suspicious. There was one editor who DID change the article but has conveniently disappeared. I was inundated by editors who appeared paranoid and hyterical. As I advised discospinster, This was intended to be a stub not an autobiography. it just has been blown way out of proportion. They drove me crazy! At one point there was an editing conflict when spomeone other than myself and I were editing at the same time!71.183.175.144 (talk) 14:33, 30 July 2011 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.183.167.223 (talk) 18:15, 29 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I will have nothing more to do with this nightmare I was "sucked ' into by Wikipedia "space cadets". Do what you will oh devine omes. Life is too short for this madness.71.183.172.161 (talk) 16:47, 1 August 2011 (UTC) You may now return to your "mothership"[reply]
