Inappropriately tagged for speedy deletion[edit]
The tag for speedy deletion that's been added seems to be entirely vexatious and inappropriate. There's no promotional material on the page and the page is fully referenced and about a notable public figure. If there are concerns about the page quality it would perhaps have been appropriate to revert to draft status, but as it is this seems to be based on the personal biases of the user who added the tag, rather than any sound argument about the page content. Contested deletion[edit]
This page is not unambiguously promotional, because... (your reason here) --Suttonpubcrawl (talk) 12:56, 14 June 2021 (UTC)
This woman has written four best selling books and is a major public figure in the UK. I don't see how a page about her can be considered promotional when it is simply summarising the facts about someone who is clearly a noteworthy figure and merits a Wikipedia article. I think the fact this has been tagged for speedy deletion is is symptomatic of Wikipedia editors' systematic bias against subjects they consider "low brow". I just can't see any valid justification for the tagging. Suttonpubcrawl (talk) 12:56, 14 June 2021 (UTC)
I'd also like to add that all information I've added has been meticulously referenced from reliable sources. Suttonpubcrawl (talk) 13:05, 14 June 2021 (UTC)
