Contrary to this entry, I believe the MMU in the 68030 implemented a subset of the 68551's features. The 551 could support a wide variety of page sizes and page table structures, only a few of which were supported by the integrated MMU on the 68030.
Actually, they were pretty similar, but the 68850 had an 8-bit process ID which the 68030 omitted, the latter requiring a full flush on context switch. Article updated accordingly. 99.35.13.15 (talk) 07:27, 24 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
