Context menu key works on the highlighted file or the file under the mouse pointer?[edit]

Not the same! With Mousekeys turned on, a Mac will let you use Ctrl-Keypad-5 to right-click. But that works on the file under the pointer, not the highlighted file. I haven't used Windows in years but I think the menu key would work on the highlighted file, not the file under the mouse pointer. This should be clarified in the article. Opinion1 = the status quo, which has some sort of reference to back it up

Opinion2 = my opinion. Context menu is very different from menu. In Windows it's actually the "Alt" key that allows you to access the menu. 205.228.108.185 (talk) 03:08, 25 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The official name seems to be "Application key", but I doubt anyone calls it that in normal conversation. "Context menu key" is more accurate but doesn't seem to be in wide use. So I'm going to have to stick with the status quo for the time being. Powers ^T 13:37, 25 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
