"Mechinat Olim" = college prep, not pre-IDF[edit]

This page about "three types" of pre-IDF preparatory programs corresponds to that in the Hebrew Wikipedia whose title translates as "Pre-Army Preparatory Academy" (מכינה קדם צבאית). On January 29, 2007, a user posting from ISP 89.1.195.131 added a section, Mechinot Olim, about a "fourth" type unrelated to the above. In essence, this latter type is a private educational framework intended to prepare immigrants for entrance into Israeli institutions of higher (post-secondary) education.
Action: I am reformatting the page with pertinent editing to reflect this divergent content, prior to splitting it into two pages. -- Deborahjay 11:33, 24 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The article Mechina (Band) should be created, and a disambiguation page should be created. 83.145.69.50 (talk) 13:28, 8 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Zahali/Tzachali is missing[edit]

Based in Otniel. Religious. Look up in existing articles (Michal Nagen; Yakov Nagen has "Tzahali" ). Arminden (talk) 16:18, 18 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

PS: some write that particular one as "Mechint". Not mechina, mechinat, or mechinot. Can that be? How come? Arminden (talk) 07:56, 19 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
