Psychoacoustics edits[edit]

I've done some work on improving the section about Maryanne's use of head tones, added some references, and also clarified the bit about psychoacoustics in the header. Christopher.p.haworth (talk) 18:42, 11 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Death Rumor[edit]

It is a violation of WP:BLP to indicate that a person is newly dead without a WP:RS. Quatloo (talk) 19:34, 22 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • It's not just a rumor anymore. BTW most sources lists her birth as being 1938, but apparently she herself started saying she was born in 1943. Williamb (talk) 07:40, 28 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I changed it to 1938 because that's the only source we have listed (the NYT obit), but we should have a note or text in the body of the article explaining the discrepancy. --Lquilter (talk) 12:33, 28 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  • It has to be 1938 since I knew her as an undergraduate at the University of Pennsylvania. She was two years behind me, and I was born in 1936. She was hardly 13 when I knew her as a student there. Whatever her reasons for changing her birth date, it clearly was not 1943.
