Where was he born[edit]

The article states that he was born in Nanaimo. Later it states that he was born in the Fraser Valley. These cannot both be true. 2001:569:BEFE:5E00:80D7:1CCF:A382:85F1 (talk) 08:00, 13 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the catch. The second source doesn't say he was born in the Fraser Valley, just raised, so that's the incorrect one. Alyo (chat·edits) 15:34, 13 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Propose either augmentation or deletion of See Also section[edit]

Per MOS:SEEALSO, this section is for linking to relevant articles in the same defining category. The two climbers are/were both free soloists, but as mentioned in M-A's biopic, they approached soloing from fundamentally opposing perspectives. Also, Honnold himself points out in the M-A doc that their mediums are quite different (AH climbs primarily rock, M-A was an Alpinist, which combines rock, snow, and ice).
The only defining category Marc-André and Alex share is that they are both in nflx documentaries, and I wouldn't agree that this is a good reason for See Also inclusion, at least as a singular entry. What is more, I believe that having just Alex's WP page in the See Also section somehow draws esteem away from M-A, as if he is only noteworthy as a "lesser Honnold". I noted that there is no link to Marc-André in Alex's See Also section. JGray (talk) 00:22, 5 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
