Tripuri speakers in Tripura[edit]

@Tirengma: Regarding this edit. Link the particular excel sheet or page which says Kokborak speakers are 1,011,294 in number. The excel sheet I get from Census link here lists 950875 under Tripuri language group with 887336 Kokborok speakers, 33529 Reang speakers and others. The number 1,011,294 you aer quoting is for whole of India not just Tripura, See the source here under point number 92. Tripuris live in other states also. I think you are mixing up number of Tripuri-speakers in the whole of India with this one. This article is about the speakers of different languages residing ONLY in Tripura. Next time discuss here and gain WP:CONSENSUS. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 15:31, 10 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I've merged the languages "Kokborok, Reang, Tripuri and other" under the Tripuri group in the State Census source since in Wikipedia, these languages are considered dialects. the number comes to 950875. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 15:43, 10 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
