According to the policy "if you place the Paid tag, you should promptly start a discussion on the article's talk page to explain what is non-neutral about the article." As a paid editor I'm not allowed to remove the tag myself, but if any volunteer editor thinks that the neutral point of view of the article is ok, they are free to remove the tag as told in the Template:Paid contributions instructions: "If you do not start this discussion, then any editor is justified in removing the tag without warning."Jjanhone (talk) 17:05, 24 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Revirvlkodlaku, I think that these maintenance tags should not be used with a "fire and forget" method. So I try to introduce a "forget-me-not" method instead. Written like an ad[edit]

Revirvlkodlaku added a "written like an ad" tag back in April. On the same month the user removed about 15 percent of the content of the article. So any advice about what parts of the article are still written like an ad? Jjanhone (talk) 12:22, 22 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

So by excessive detail do you mean that instead of e.g. this "In April 2020, the company launched the Kalevala Training Center education project in Makongeni, Kenya, together with Finnish activist Viola Wallenius. The objective of the project is for local teachers to annually train 190 women to become data processors, hairdressers, and seamstresses. The project prioritizes women aged 16–25." it should be something like "Since 2020 the company has hosted the Kalevala Training Center education project in Kenya to train young women to become data processors, hairdressers, or seamstresses." Sure, that is a good example. When I read the article, it just feels like it was written from a biased perspective, with the intent being to promote the company rather than to describe it using impartial language and a generic number of words. Could you have a look now Revirvlkodlaku? I've edited my example and also cut short other things. I'm not an expert in the field of jewelry business but I do own Kalevala jewelries myself and have tried to pick things (from big media sources not from the company's site) that would interest other people who are interested about the company and its products. Before this editing project I did not know that the company had bought so many other Finnish jewelry companies nor how long time it takes to make them.Jjanhone (talk) 15:46, 29 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
