Birth name of JianHao Tan[edit]

Hello, I am VertaxApolinariax, the creator and the first contributor to JianHao Tan's Wikipedia page. There may be disputes regarding Tan's birth name, some say JianHao Tan is his real birth name, some say it could be the other. When writing the article, I came across to what seem like to be an old Twitter account that is named Elijah Tan Jian Hao, with tweets promoting his channel TeenageGuruz (which is now renamed into JianHao Tan), so it could be a sign that this is JianHao Tan's former twitter account with Tan's real birth name, together with his nickname at the end. However, I have not found any other references to show JianHao Tan's potential real birth name. For now, Elijah Tan will be used as JianHao Tan's birth name, because of a evidence to support this case (which is his assumed old twitter account). If you wish to change the birth name to something else, have other potential birth name suggestions with reliable references, or you found another reliable source of JianHao Tan's name being Elijah, continue this thread and make a Level 3 headline, or you can hit me up through my talk page. VertaxApolinariax, there is always the possibility that "Tan Jian Hao" or "Tan Jianhao" is also his birthname, being Chinese and all. I suggest rewording the lead just refer him as "JianHao Tan" per WP:COMMON and have "Elijah Tan" in the infobox. – robertsky (talk) 13:02, 26 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Twitter account of Tan[edit]

It turns out that the assumed old account of JianHao Tan was renamed from Elijah Tan JianHao to his current name, it is unclear why it was done so. Unfortunately, the site was not archived nor pictured, so proofs of this change would be difficult. Tweets are also deleted from the account, which includes tweets containing links to his former channels, and his channel in present times. Name Format[edit]

Should his name in the descriptions be formatted as 'Tan Jian Hao' or 'Tan Jianhao' as per the format of other Chinese names in Wikipedia? (e.g. Lee Kuan Yew, Mao Zedong) The article title can be left as 'JianHao Tan' since that's his alias. Sentimex (talk) 13:49, 24 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Sentimex, whichever is WP:COMMON. I have no clear preference on this. Some articles adopt <firstname> <lastname> for Chinese names purely because they are purely known as such in their field(s). – robertsky (talk) 14:18, 24 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Article not being in the neutral point of view[edit]
