Notability[edit]

Tagged this article for notability. A link to itself (it is a website) is not a reference. The other (non-self) source--FASTEN--is not independent of the subject. A quick search of books uncovers many references, but none independent of the subject (Christian/prison ministry). Richigi (talk) 00:26, 28 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • I will look into this and if I find something to add to the article that improves notability, I will add it there and in the footnotes. Bill Pollard (talk) 15:01, 21 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • I just looked. I think the issue with people are having with this is that this organization is a clearinghouse for very many denominations, none of which are truly independent from the clearing house. I think what is wanted are sources that are looking from the outside in and such sources are going to be difficult to find, as few not involved with these efforts are interested in them. My reason for contesting the deletion of this article[edit]

I have only one reason for contesting the deletion of this article. That is: it is a legitimate organization that serves a large number of religious denominations. While I have found no independent online sources reporting on this organization, I found some denominations that it serves said a few words about it in their websites. If it goes through a formal deletion process, quite possibly someone will uncover independent sources then. This is a real, although admittedly small, organization.
