Lemberg[edit]

Similar to it there was a word Liemberzki meaning criminal-like. In 19th century city of Lviv carried the name of Lemberg.

Does this mean to say that Liemberzki originally meant 'of Lemberg' and acquired the secondary meaning 'criminal-like'? Did Lembergers have a reputation for dishonesty? The passage cries out for clarifying, whatever it means. —Tamfang (talk) 06:48, 18 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
